Reaction Engine

The model of a reaction engine built using LEGO® pieces.

For one of my projects, I needed a reaction engine. This is my version of it. The inspiration was the airplane engines from sets “70429 El Fuego's Stunt Plane” and “71736 Boulder Blaster.”
The base of the design is a cylinder assembled from parts “6018805: PARABOLIC RING” and “6336989: PLATE 2X1 W/HOLDER,VERTICAL.” Parts “6345952: PLATE 1X2, W/ SHOOTER, NO. 1” are attached to it on all sides, representing additional nozzles. I considered inserting something into them, but in the end I decided on the empty option.
Rotating plates (consisting of parts “368021: TURN PLATE 2X2, LOWER PART” and “4540203: TURN PLATE 2X2, UPPER PART”) are attached to the parts “6018805: PARABOLIC RING.” This is an important design feature — these plates make it possible to rotate the frame (see below) relative to the base as needed.
Next, a frame is built around the base, consisting mainly of parts “395726: WHIP/AERIAL,” “6315887: HOLDER Ø3.2 W/TUBE Ø3.2 HOLE,” and “6439039: STICK Ø 3.2 W/ HOLDER,” which are all attached to the same parts “6018805: PARABOLIC RING” (their second layer). At the same time, parts “395726: WHIP/AERIAL” and “6315887: HOLDER Ø3.2 W/TUBE Ø3.2 HOLE” should NOT be connected all the way, which, unfortunately, complicates the assembly somewhat.
Finally, I used part “6188466: ROCKET STEP 3X3X2 W. CROSS” as the main nozzle, for which I even had to buy the “41443 Olivia's Electric Car” set.
An extremely important aspect of the design was the color scheme. When viewed from the side, the model had to be visually divided into two triangles — black and white. Initially, I wanted to achieve a strictly horizontal division — black on top and white on the bottom. However, since there are “6018805: PARABOLIC RING” parts at both ends, I couldn't divide the colors that way and ended up going with triangles.
